About Me 😌

Howdy! I'm Kyle. As a product designer with a background in full-stack web programming, I bridge the gap between visual design and technical implementation. I care about solving problems in ways that are inclusive and grounded in the people they affect.

In my practice, I ground everything I create in the spirit of Kapwa, a concept rooted in my Filipino heritage. It roughly translates to “shared identity”, and it represents a belief that we are all interconnected. To me, Kapwa serves as a reminder to build with empathy, inclusion, and community impact in mind.

From there, I aim to co-create with users, listen deeply, and make products that reflect authentic relationships. This philosophy shapes not only my design approach, but also how I show up as a collaborator. I believe the best work happens when everyone's voice is heard, and I'm committed to creating environments grounded in transparency and care.

Looking ahead, I'm drawn to roles that sit at the intersection of design and software development, within teams and organizations that prioritize psychological safety and meaningful growth. I want to build products that bring people together, authentically and intentionally. I'm endlessly curious, always exploring new tools, frameworks, and design methodologies to stay sharp. When I'm not designing or coding, you'll find me on the basketball court, deep in a video game, cooking up a good steak, or hanging out with my cat, Kohga.

Uplifting teams, bridging perspectives, and designing with empathy.
